Lersi Kalaikote is a deer-headed hermit god worshipped in Thailand. He is said to be the protector of the forests and animals, and is also associated with fertility and abundance. His name is derived from the Sanskrit words "kalai" (deer) and "kota" (hermit).

Legend has it that Lersi Kalaikote was born in the forest to a deer mother. He was raised by the animals and learned the secrets of the natural world. When he grew up, he became a powerful hermit god and protector of the forest.
