This framed print of the "Kamadhenu, The Wish-Granting Cow" depicts the sacred cow from Hindu mythology. It was created by an unknown Indian artist between 1825 and 1855 and features a white zebu cow with a female face, eagle-like wings, and a peacock tail -- a distinctive combination of characteristics never seen before.

The artwork is thought to be one of the earliest depictions to merge Kamadhenu with the Islamic Buraq, symbolizing the cultural exchange and artistic adaptation between the two. Significant for its blend of Hindu and Islamic elements, it also conveys Kamadhenu's significance of being a powerful and magical wish-granting being in Hinduism.
